The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile has been specifically designed for shock and noise absorption. The High Impact Tiles are made from recycled rubber with an antistatic layer on top preventing static shocks from occurring. These tiles are extremely durable and tough, making them the ideal high footfall envoriments.

Overview

The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile is 1mx1mx20mm. It has been designed for shock and noise absorption, providing protection to the floor below. These high impact gym tiles are extremely durable and tough, making them the ideal solution for free weight and Olympic lifting areas with high footfall. They also have great noise absorption properties, meaning there is less disruption to the surrounding areas.

 

Construction

The gym tile is produced in a single vulcanisation process, with a 5mm top layer made from high density SBR, and a 15mm base layer made from recycled rubber and recycled EDPM. There is an antistatic layer on top meaning these will not generate static shocks.

Installation

This High Impact Gym Tile can be easily installed using connectors that create nearly invisible joints and reduces any tile movement or messiness from adhesives, you can purchase connectors here. It is recommended that 5 connectors are purchased per tile. Alternatively, if required, the tiles can also be bonded to the floor. This requires professional installation and sub-floor preparations. Cleaning

The tiles are easily cleaned and can be vacuumed and mopped. We do no recommend machine cleaning or using solvent-based cleaning agents. Always use a neutral pH cleaner and warm water Check out our how-to guide here for cleaning rubber gym tiles.

Sound reduction and Protection

Free weight and lifting areas, whether at home or in the gym, are often subject to persistent impact. Gym flooring must therefore reduce sound and vibration to minimise disruption to surrounding areas. It must also offer protection to your equipment and subfloor in case of any drops or accidents. The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile – 20mm, offers a shock absorption of 61% (tested to EN14808), and a 24dB sound reduction (certified to EN ISO 17025:2005).

PALLET DELIVERY

All deliveries are kerbside, it will be your responsibility to remove the items from the pallet on arrival and dispose of the pallet. You will receive an email from our Logistics team with a date of delivery. If you require an alternative delivery date or if there are any access restrictions to your property, please let us know within 24 hours before delivery by emailing team@blkboxfitness.com. Please be aware failure to do so may result in additional delivery charges.

RETURNS
