BLK BOX announce their collaboration with leading luxury fashion brand, Represent Clothing; a dynamic and visionary new state-of-the-art gym, in the heart of Represent's new 30,000 sq. ft HQ in Manchester.
Represent clothing – a brand brought to life by two brothers from Manchester, George and Michael Heaton - has grown to become a leading fashion brand, quickly gaining a global cult following and the attention of A-listers worldwide. With a projected revenue of £250million for 2025, and partnerships with luxury department stores; Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Flannels, Represent is a powerhouse of success.
The brief for the new gym in Represent HQ was simple; to design an adaptable training space to accommodate coach led functional fitness classes – ultimately a space to encourage the team to interact and bond before entering the creative workspace. Since its install, the gym has become a space for the 70 strong team to inspire resilience, mental toughness, grit, and determination, just as George Heaton had envisioned.
The space seamlessly fuses quality and functionality, with the overall design aesthetic remaining minimal, aligning with the black and white interior of the Represent office space.
Leading the project from concept to completion was Chris Hull, Business Development Manager at BLK BOX who commented, “It was a rewarding experience collaborating with George and the team on their new gym design. The fusion of Represent's minimalist aesthetic, with a focus on employee well-being, resulted in a space reflective of the brand's commitment to quality and productivity.”
Since completion, the gym has featured in several Represent Clothing photoshoots. Having been carefully designed with versatility in mind, the fully functioning gym seamlessly transitions into a brand activation space for Represent’s activewear collection, 247.
