No, sand is not included. We recommend filling with kiln dry sand which can be bought at most builders merchants.

What material can these bags be filled with?

These should be filled with sand only. Do not use pebbles, gravel or any other aggregate material.

What material is the bag made from?

These sandbags are made from a double stitched, heavy duty vinyl fabric that is highly durable. There is an inner stitched filler bag with velcro fastening and a double stitched zip ensuring no loss of sand during use.
