The Details
The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile has been designed for shock and noise absorption, providing protection to the floor below. These high impact gym tiles are extremely durable and tough, making them the ideal solution for free weight and Olympic lifting areas with high footfall. They also have great noise absorption properties, meaning there is less disruption to the surrounding areas.

Construction
The gym tile is produced in a single vulcanisation process, with a 5mm top layer made from high density SBR, and a 25mm base layer made from recycled rubber and recycled EDPM. There is an antistatic layer on top meaning these will not generate static shocks.
Installation
This High Impact Gym Tile can be easily installed using connectors that create nearly invisible joints and reduces any tile movement or messiness from adhesives, you can purchase connectors here. It is recommended that 7 connectors are purchased per tile (14 per square metre). Alternatively, if required, the tiles can also be bonded to the floor. This requires professional installation and sub-floor preparations. Please contact us for more details.
Cleaning
The tiles are easily cleaned and can be vacuumed and mopped. We do no recommend machine cleaning or using solvent-based cleaning agents. Always use a neutral pH cleaner and warm water Check out our how-to guide here for cleaning rubber gym tiles.
Sound reduction and Protection
Free weight and lifting areas, whether at home or in the gym, are often subject to persistent impact. Gym flooring must therefore reduce sound and vibration to minimise disruption to surrounding areas. It must also offer protection to your equipment and subfloor in case of any drops or accidents.
The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile – 30mm, offers a shock absorption of 61% (tested to EN14808), and a 24dB sound reduction (certified to EN ISO 17025:2005).
Colour
The BLK BOX High Impact Gym Tile – 30mm is available in 3 colours; Black, Grey and Stone Light Grey. All 3 offer a dark and neutral colour, complimenting your space and highlighting your equipment.
