Overview

The AIREX® Balance-pad Elite is the further development of the proven Balance-pad. Its unique waffle texture on the upper and lower sides is slip-resistant on the one hand and simultaneously provides pleasant stimulation of the foot receptors during barefoot balance training, on the other hand. The thickness of 6 cm gives the Balance-pad Elite the desired destabilising characteristics.  The AIREX® Balance-pad is an active therapy and training device made of the familiar soft AIREX® foam material. The Balance-pad, with its smooth surface, is ideal for starting with barefoot balance training. The thickness of 6 cm gives the Balance-pad the desired destabilising characteristics. Due to the yielding foam, the body is continuously challenged to maintain balance and stabilise the joints. This exercises more and deeper muscles compared to performing the same exercises without the Balance-pad. Due to the comfortable, smooth surface, the Balance-pad is not entirely slip-resistant on smooth floors. We recommend an AIREX® mat underneath as the ideal complement.


 

Intended purpose:

The AIREX® products are designed as a movement therapeutic aid for both institutional and domestic use. An object lying on the floor serves as a support for a person during medically indicated and prescribed exercises to improve motor skills and balance or postural control and / or for the therapeutic movement treatment of muscle weakness in the limbs and trunk as a result of a neurological or orthopaedic disease.

DELIVERY & TRACKING

PALLET DELIVERY

All deliveries are kerbside, it will be your responsibility to remove the items from the pallet on arrival and dispose of the pallet. You will receive an email from our Logistics team with a date of delivery. If you require an alternative delivery date or if there are any access restrictions to your property, please let us know within 24 hours before delivery by emailing team@blkboxfitness.com. Please be aware failure to do so may result in additional delivery charges.

MANUFACTURED ITEMS

Some of our training equipment is manufactured here in our HQ. The lead times on these products range from 10-25 working days and are identified by having the MADE IN BELFAST badge.

RETURNS

We understand at times due to size, colour or type some items might not be the right fit for you. We are happy to accept a returned item within 30 days from the date of you receiving the item for a refund or exchange.
