The BLK BOX collection of Glute Ham Developers (GHD) offers a robust foundation for strengthening the posterior chain, essential for high performance athletes and serious lifters.
Glute Ham Developers
Glute Ham Developers (GHD) are built for developing strong hamstrings, glutes, and lower back muscles. They allow for a wide range of exercises targeting these muscle groups, including the popular Nordic curl, a movement that's difficult to load safely without a dedicated station.
A GHD trains the posterior chain through a longer range of motion than a standard back extension, which matters for athletes working on hamstring strength specifically for injury prevention as well as performance. It's a common fixture in strength and conditioning facilities working with field and court sport athletes.
