Beyond high-performance sport, we support schools, universities, and the commercial fitness industry - supplying leading gym chains, corporate HQs, and luxury hotels through global supply contracts.

Our Story 

2012 - Founded 

Greg Bradley established EFP Gyms to improve on the sub-par equipment available at the time. 

2013 - Manufacturing Expansion 

Manufacturing on-site increased, with investment in machinery and an expanding client list. 

2014 - BLK BOX 

Realising the name EFP Gyms no longer fit, the BLK BOX brand was born. 

2015 - Growing Customer Base 

Our customer base grew to include home gym users, local sports clubs, and Ulster Rugby. 

2016 - Customisation and E-Commerce 

Powder-coating was added for endless customisation, and a new website was created for online orders and home delivery. 

2017 - Investment and Expansion 

2019 was a standout year for projects, with major installations in London for Gymbox and internationally for Adidas. 

2019 - New HQ 

We moved to a new HQ just outside Belfast, tripling our footprint and allowing further expansion and growth. 

2021 - New Leadership 

Our leadership team expands with the appointment of Ben Stocks as Managing Director to drive growth alongside Greg, our founder. 

2022 - HQ Move and Iconic Inspiration 

The team moved to the Titanic Quarter in Belfast, with the iconic cranes, Samson and Goliath, inspiring the BLK BOX rig and racks range. 

2023 - Global Expansion 

We signed a new contract with PureGym to support over 600 gyms and two million members. 

2024 - The Pursuit of Better 

The BLK BOX brand was refreshed to reflect our core principle, The Pursuit of Better. 

2025 - Introducing 1, 3, 5 Series 

As strength training evolves, so does our range - expanding and diversifying our 1, 3, 5 Series rigs and racks to meet the industry’s changing demands.

As the UK’s largest strength equipment manufacturer, we control every step of production with state-of-the-art laser cutting, expert welding, CNC machining, and premium powder coating.
