Located in East Belfast, Berserk is one of Northern Ireland’s leading functional fitness facilities, offering a premium training experience built around expert coaching, inclusive programming and a strong community ethos.
With more than five styles of training available, Berserk caters to every fitness level, from experienced athletes to complete beginners. Whether members are looking to build strength, improve conditioning or simply move better, each programme is designed to be accessible, scalable and results-driven.
Originally opened in 2013, Berserk has worked with BLK BOX for over a decade. As membership continued to grow, owner Eamon recognised the need for a larger facility that could better support the gym’s expanding community and wider range of training options.
Having outgrown the original location, Eamon relocated Berserk to a purpose-built 12,000 sq ft facility in East Belfast. Designed in collaboration with BLK BOX, the new space was created to maximise training capacity while maintaining the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that has always defined the gym.
Today, Berserk features three dedicated training zones: a main gym floor, an open gym area and a studio space. Each area is fully equipped to ensure members always have access to the tools they need, whether attending a coached class, training independently or taking part in specialist sessions. The facility also includes spacious changing and shower facilities, as well as a dedicated office and social space, offering members the flexibility to fit training around busy workdays.

Every element of Berserk was designed to create a high-performance environment capable of supporting large group classes, individual training and specialist programmes.
A key priority for Eamon was the flooring. Recognising that the foundation of any great facility starts from the ground up, he selected BLK BOX Utility Gym Flooring Rolls to provide a seamless, durable and easy-to-maintain surface throughout the gym.
Another standout feature is the extensive configuration of BLK BOX 1 Series Wall Mounted Rigs, complete with custom branded Wall Ball Targets. This versatile setup allows Berserk to deliver dynamic group sessions while maintaining a clean, organised and professional training environment.
