To support our continued growth, BLK BOX is expanding our manufacturing team and looking for skilled powder painters to help us deliver the high-quality finish our equipment is known for worldwide.
The Opportunity
Are you a powder painter by trade and love the idea of manufacturing gym equipment used in some of the most unique and successful training facilities across Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond? This is a hands-on manufacturing role where your skill directly contributes to the quality of every piece of BLK BOX equipment leaving our facility.
This area is vital to ensuring the right equipment is available for every job and that all products are finished to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Painting & Finishing
- Clean jobs to standard, ready for painting.
- Powder paint to correct specification including DFT requirements.
- Plug and tape parts ready for painting.
Paint Line Operations
- Load and unload paint line conveyor with parts.
- Learn and operate paint line controls.
- Carry out routine maintenance of the paint line.
Quality & Standards
- Clean paint areas to ensure they are free of contamination and fit for use.
- Enforce strict quality standards with attention to detail throughout.
- Any other duties as required.
Your Profile:
- Previous experience with powder painting systems.
- Experience in fettling is advantageous.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Comfortable working without close supervision.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with flexibility to move between areas.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
