Frequently Asked Questions

What are Plate Loaded Machines?

Plate loaded machines use standard Olympic weight plates for resistance. They deliver a free-weight feel with added stability, allowing users to load plates manually for controlled, progressive training.

How do you use Plate Loaded Machines and what muscle groups do they train?

These machines isolate specific muscles. A leg press targets quads, glutes and hamstrings; a glute drive focuses on glutes. Load the plates, adjust the seat or pads, and perform slow, controlled reps for optimal activation.

How to maintain Plate Loaded Machines?

Wipe down after each use, check bolts and load pegs, and lubricate moving joints occasionally. Regular inspections ensure safe, smooth operation.

What type of facility is a Plate Loaded Machine most suited for?

Ideal for commercial gyms, sports clubs and PT studios. Also suitable for home gyms with space and access to weight plates.

What type of Plate Loaded Machine should I buy?

Choose based on training goals – leg press for lower body strength, glute drive for posterior chain, or Myothrusta for explosive movements and athletic performance.
