Our technique plates are air filled bumper plates made from a hollow plastic. These weight plates are great for practicing and developing the technique for traditional Olympic lifts. Our technique plates fit all our weightlifting bars, however if you are focusing on improving your lifting technique for Olympic lifts, we would recommend using our technique bar. Our technique plates should only be used by themselves on a bar, not in conjunction with any other weight plates. For long term usage it is best to use our technique plates indoors where they can be dropped on rubber gym tiles or rubber flooring rolls.
