When Danny Beckers opened KB Sports in Düsseldorf in 2019, the goal was to create a training space built around personal coaching, group sessions and sports performance.
As an established ice hockey coach in Düsseldorf, working with DEG Eishockey e. V across the Under 9 and Under 13 teams, Danny understood the demands of developing young athletes. KB Sports was created to support that process, giving members and athletes a dedicated environment to train with purpose.
The original facility featured two signature red BLK BOX Goliath Racks, custom finished to match the primary colour of the KB Sports brand. The space was designed to support 1-1 personal training, group classes and youth performance training, with a focus on strength and conditioning tailored to the demands of different sports.
In March 2026, KB Sports expanded into a second site after Danny purchased the building connected to the original facility. By creating a passageway between both spaces, KB Sports was able to open up a larger training environment with more room for group classes, open gym access and premium functional training.
The second space was designed with a more elevated feel, featuring custom-coloured 3 Series Functional Cable Storage and 3 Series NEXUS Racks, finished to match the secondary colour of the KB Sports logo.
This expansion allowed KB Sports to give each space a clearer purpose. The original site now operates as a dedicated sports performance facility, focused on strength and conditioning, while the second space supports a broader functional training offer, including group classes, open gym and personal training.
Together, the two spaces reflect the continued growth of KB Sports and Danny’s commitment to creating high-quality training environments for athletes, members and the wider Düsseldorf community.
