When Gymshark wanted to bring a competition-grade hybrid racing experience to London, they partnered with BLK BOX to make it happen.
Battle Stations at Exhibition White City wasn’t a fitness pop-up. It was a full-scale performance arena. Eight hybrid stations, three structured workouts, and a VIP HYROX simulation designed to replicate exactly what athletes feel on race day.
Elite athletes, creators, invited guests, and first-time competitors all stepped onto the floor. One environment. One standard. No shortcuts.
Building the Battle Stations Arena
BLK BOX supplied the entire competition setup, drawing directly from our Competition Collection. The same kit built and approved for race environments, brought to life in the middle of one of London's most exciting fitness events.

To keep the floor clean and the sessions running smoothly, we added 4 Tier Basecamp Storage with flat and ball shelf options.
The custom rig was the centrepiece. Designed and built by BLK BOX for this event, it gave athletes everything they needed to push hard and transition fast, without breaking rhythm.
Race Conditions, Replicated
The event featured an invite-only HYROX simulation designed exclusively for elite athletes. Built to mirror real race conditions, it gave competitors the chance to perform in a true competition environment using the same setup they would face on race day.
Hybrid athletes Sinead Bent and Celia Parker were among those taking on the challenge, putting the BLK BOX Competition Collection through its paces in a high performance setting.
Alongside the elite simulation, three structured training sessions ran throughout the day, giving invited guests and members of the public the chance to experience the Battle Stations arena and step into hybrid racing for themselves.
