Gym Flooring Tiles
BLK BOX Challenger Gym Tile is 1m x 1m x 20mm. It has been designed for shock and noise absorption, providing protection to the floor below. These high impact gym tiles are extremely durable and tough, making them the ideal solution for free weight and Olympic lifting areas with high footfall. They also have great noise absorption properties, meaning there is less disruption to the surrounding areas.
Construction
The gym tile is produced in a single vulcanisation process, with a 5mm top layer made from high density SBR, and a 15mm base layer made from recycled rubber and recycled EDPM. There is an antistatic layer on top meaning these will not generate static shocks.
Installation of Gym Flooring Tiles
This Challenger Gym Tile can be easily installed using connectors that create nearly invisible joints and reduces any tile movement or messiness from adhesives, you can purchase connectors here. It is recommended that 5 connectors are purchased per tile. Alternatively, if required, the tiles can also be bonded to the floor. This requires professional installation and sub-floor preparations. Cleaning Gym Flooring Tiles
The tiles are easily cleaned and can be vacuumed and mopped. We do no recommend machine cleaning or using solvent-based cleaning agents. Always use a neutral pH cleaner and warm water Check out our how-to guide here for cleaning rubber gym tiles.
Noise Reducing Gym Flooring

Gym flooring must therefore reduce sound and vibration to minimise disruption to surrounding areas. It must also offer protection to your equipment and subfloor in case of any drops or accidents. The BLK BOX Challenger Gym Tile – 20mm, offers a shock absorption of 61% (tested to EN14808), and a 24dB sound reduction (certified to EN ISO 17025:2005).
