Olympic Weight Plates
Our competition weight plates are our most premium rubber bumper plate set, designed with elite-level weightlifting and high-performance facilities in mind. They're compliant with IWF standards, with an outer diameter of 450mm and an IWF weight tolerance of +/- 0.8%.
These plates offer minimal bounce when dropped from height. This matters because the less a weight plate bounces, the less the barbell bounces with it, reducing the chances of barbell collars and plate centre rings working loose over repeated sets. The thin plate design also means you can load more total weight onto the same bar before running out of sleeve length.
A rubber flange around the circumference prevents other plates from touching the metal surface, so plates won't scratch or chip when loading a barbell. These sets are also customisable - for more information, contact us directly.
