Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy gym equipment in the UK?

You can buy gym equipment online from BLK BOX, with delivery across the UK and Ireland. BLK BOX has supplied over 300,000 clients, including 90% of Premier League teams, alongside commercial gyms and home gyms. We are based in Newtownabbey, near Belfast, where our racks, rigs and NEXUS functional trainers are designed and made, and our team can help with larger home and commercial orders by phone or email.

Do you deliver gym equipment to Northern Ireland and Ireland?

Yes. BLK BOX is based in Northern Ireland and delivers across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, aiming for 2 to 5 working days on in-stock items, with free delivery on orders over £500.

Can I buy gym equipment on finance?

Yes. Eligible orders can be paid in instalments, so you can spread the cost of a home gym or a larger commercial setup. Our finance FAQs cover the full details, including how it works, who is eligible and how to apply.

How much does gym equipment delivery cost and how long does it take?

In-stock items are dispatched and delivered within 2 to 5 working days across the UK and Ireland, while manufactured items may take slightly longer. Delivery is free on orders over £500, with charges from £4.99 on smaller orders based on order value, weight and location. Pallet deliveries are kerbside, and our logistics team emails you with a delivery date.

What is the difference between home and commercial gym equipment?

Commercial gym equipment is designed for constant use by many people, so it typically uses heavier steel, more robust fixings and higher load ratings. In the BLK BOX range, 1 Series racks use 60x60x3mm steel for home gyms, while 3 Series uses 70x70x3mm and 5 Series 80x80x3mm with Westside hole spacing for commercial and performance facilities. Many home gyms choose commercial-grade equipment for its durability.

Is BLK BOX gym equipment made in the UK?

BLK BOX manufactured equipment, including our racks, rigs and NEXUS functional trainers, is designed and made at our Belfast HQ in Northern Ireland. We also stock specialist equipment from brands including Concept2, Assault, Wattbike and Woodway.

What warranty comes with BLK BOX gym equipment?

Metalwork on BLK BOX manufactured items is covered by a lifetime structural guarantee, and BLK BOX branded equipment carries a 12-month limited warranty. The warranty excludes normal wear, misuse, improper maintenance and alteration, so check the terms for each product.

What is your returns policy?

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Return shipping is paid by the customer, sale items cannot be refunded, and items are only exchanged if defective or damaged. Contact info@blkboxfitness.com to arrange a return.

Does gym equipment arrive assembled?

Most racks, rigs and larger equipment are delivered flat-packed and need assembly. Installation guides are available online, and some products, such as bonded flooring, need professional installation, which our team can advise on.

Can BLK BOX design or fit out a commercial gym?

Yes. Our team designs and fits out commercial gyms, PT studios, schools and sports performance facilities, from equipment layouts to installation. Find out more about our gym design service and get in touch to discuss your project.
