Frequently Asked Questions

What are wall balls good for?

Wall balls are used for full-body conditioning, improving power, strength, coordination, and cardiovascular fitness through dynamic squat-and-throw movements.

Are wall balls durable?

Quality wall balls are made with heavy-duty, reinforced stitching and materials to withstand repeated impact during throws and catches.

What weight wall ball should I use?

For general fitness, many women start with 4–6 kg, and men with 6–9 kg. For hybrid competition standards, women often use 4 kg and men 6 kg. For CrossFit standards, women often use 6 kg and men 9 kg, but choose a weight that allows proper form for high-rep sets.

What type of wall or surface should I use for wall ball exercises?

You throw a wall ball at a sturdy, flat wall, or a wall ball target, usually, set at 2.7–3m. Many gyms have marked targets or rig attachments to help maintain consistent throw height and placement.
