Inside the Build: Science in Sport
Science in Sport Group is a leading performance nutrition business that develops, manufactures, and markets science-led nutrition products for professional athletes, sports and fitness enthusiasts and the gym lifestyle community.
We recently completed a fresh install at the Science in Sport Group Blackburn headquarters which will serve as a staff gym, content creation space and athlete testing facility for their sponsored athletes.
The Brief
With a turnaround time of just six weeks, Science in Sport wanted a gym that could serve a dual purpose for its two brands, Science in Sport and PhD Nutrition - a space designed both as a health and fitness facility and as a content studio. Customisation was key, ensuring the environment would visually reflect each brand’s identity in every piece of content produced.

The Result
Science in Sport’s facility is equipped to support every style of training, from cycling and running to HYROX, CrossFit and powerlifting. Designed to be both functional and flexible, it allows for endless training possibilities.
Doubling as a content studio, the space has been fully customised to represent both of their brands, featuring bespoke brand plates and performance flooring. The result is a high-spec, professional gym that reflects the quality and performance standards at the heart of Science in Sport.
