Intent91, West Sussex
Intent 91 is a state-of-the-art new personal training club in West Sussex. Having previously rented space in a commercial gym, owners George and Emily are thrilled to have their own luxury premises, kitted out to their liking.
The 2,000 square foot site is a 200-year-old flint barn, which was completely transformed when many of the stud walls were knocked down and original walls stripped back to reveal the brickwork, showing off the character of the building and adding to the rustic contemporary look. The high ceilings were kept as a key feature and a large window was added to increase natural light, making it bright, airy and spacious.

There is an overwhelming feeling of luxury in this gym, from the minute you walk through the doors into reception and member chillout area, right through to the premium changing rooms, toilets, treatment room and of course the gym itself. The gym was designed specifically for small group training sessions and functional training, in which equipment can be moved when needed. The training model in Intent91 is 4 people to 1 coach, so 4 Goliath Half Racks were installed, allowing clients access to their own rack and their own equipment.
The Goliath Half Racks have been customised with personalised brand plates with the Intent91 logo and brand colours, adding to the wow factor of the gym. The gym has also been kitted out with a range of kettlebells, dumbbells, benches, slam balls, conditioning equipment and flooring solutions making it a highly functional and practical training space.
One of Intent91’s core values is to get people moving, become the best they can be and live their lives with purpose and intent. We think it would be difficult not to achieve that when training in this gym.
One of Intent91's popular group classes is their Sweat Class, and as you can see from the video below it certainly lives up to the name!
