Multi Grip Bar

Honestly I'm a little disappointed in the finish quality. The welds on it look awful. Looks like weld spatter underneath the powder coated paint. I had to re drill one of the holes to get a bolt through as wasn't a clean hole. For the pricing I was expecting impeccable quality. But then It does redeem in functionality and sturdiness. The knurling feels nice and the angles of the handles feel natural when pressing. It is a nice addition to my home gym. Just let down a little by its final finish.

Bought this bar to relieve the impact on my wrists when doing various exercises that I would have done with a standard barbell. It has the added benefit of the camber, allowing for a greater range of motion on things like bench press and rows. I won’t be using it as a complete replacement as I will still be using the barbell for heavier weight on the bench press, mainly due to acquired technique. Well engineered and made, for the most part. The bar doesn’t have the same quality of finish that I have come to expect from BLK Box. There is a lot of scoring on the sleeves, a slight bit of rusting on the bar itself and some of the grips have small bits of uneven paint, leaving an almost jaggy feel in some parts. Granted, the bar is for home use in a garage, but for a bar at this price, I was expecting a bit more quality with the finish.

You can really feel the stretch on the pecs deep in the hole, more activation from both upper and lower pecs. Interesting activation of the medial tricep too which I wasn't expecting, extra gains for the lockout portion of the bench press for sure!

This is my first time ordering from Blk Box, the service and product quality is excellent , i will definitely be using Blk Box again.
The bar itself is very well made to a very high quality. It has replaced my regular swiss style bar which was more unable. Due to the camber the bar is much more stable when in use and extremely comfortable on the joints for overhead and bench press. The Camber also allows me to use it for seal rows , the angled grips give a different feel than a regular straight bar . adding some welcome variation .
