The Details

The Plate Loaded Pendulum Squat is engineered to deliver an intense and effective lower-body workout, combining a natural arcing movement with exceptional user support. Designed to target the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, and calves, the pendulum-style working arm promotes a deep squat pattern and a full range of motion while reducing stress on the lower back.

The machine features a pull-pin adjustable footplate with multiple angle and length settings, allowing users to customise their stance and training position for optimal comfort and muscle activation. An adjustable safety weight stopper and lever-based locking mechanism provide added control and security throughout each set.

A dense foam back pad and rubber-gripped handles ensure comfort and stability during heavy lifts, while the textured footplate offers excellent traction for confident foot placement. Chrome weight sleeves and integrated storage pegs provide convenient plate loading and organisation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Pendulum Squat require assembly?

Yes, the Pendulum Squat requires assembly. A step-by-step manual is provided here.

Is the Pendulum Squat suitable for a beginner?

Yes, this fixed path on this machine helps teach proper squat mechanics.

What are the benefits of a pendulum squat machine?

A pendulum squat machine provides a natural squatting motion with added support, allowing users to train the lower body intensely while reducing stress on the lower back. It is ideal for building leg strength, muscle mass, and improved squat mechanics.

What Is the Difference Between a V Squat, Pendulum Squat and Hack Squat?

V Squat: Closely mimics a traditional barbell squat with a more upright position. It targets the quads, glutes, and hamstrings while allowing a natural squatting motion.

Pendulum Squat: Uses a swinging arc to create a unique resistance profile, placing strong emphasis on the quadriceps and glutes with reduced lower-back strain.

Hack Squat: Features an angled sled and back support, providing a highly stable movement that is ideal for heavy quad-focused training.

Which Is Best?

Choose a V Squat for a squat pattern similar to free weights.

Choose a Pendulum Squat for intense quad development.

Choose a Hack Squat for safe, controlled heavy leg training.

What muscles does the plate-loaded pendulum squat work?

The Plate Loaded Pendulum Squat primarily targets the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, and calves. The guided arc of movement also engages the core and helps maintain a stable lower-body training position.
