A Simple Guide to Shop Pay Installments

Investing in quality training equipment is a big decision - and spreading the cost can make all the difference. That’s why BLK BOX offers Shop Pay Installments, giving you more flexibility when purchasing the kit you need. Whether you’re upgrading your home setup or fitting out a full facility, here’s everything you need to know.

What is Shop Pay?
Shop Pay is a fast and secure checkout option that lets you split eligible purchases into instalments. Depending on the plan you choose, these instalments can be interest-free or include a low-interest rate. It’s designed to make larger purchases more manageable, without hidden fees or surprise charges.

Are there any extra costs?
Shop Pay Installments may include interest depending on your chosen plan, with rates ranging from 0–36% APR (subject to local regulations). Other than that, there are no late fees, no additional charges, and no penalties for early repayment.

Will it affect my credit score?
Creating a Shop Pay Installments account will not impact your credit score. However, as with any form of borrowing, your payment behaviour over time may influence your credit profile. This is managed through Affirm, the finance provider behind Shop Pay Installments.

What’s the purchase range?
In the UK, Shop Pay Installments is available for orders between £150-£30,000. This covers almost all BLK BOX products, from entry-level equipment to full facility builds.

Can I use Shop Pay Installments on every product?
Most products within the eligible price range are covered. However, gift cards and subscription products aren’t eligible.

When does BLK BOX get paid?
As soon as your payment is captured, BLK BOX receives the full order value (minus fees) within 1-3 business days. Affirm handles all ongoing instalment collections securely - you won’t be chased by us for repayments.

What if I need to return something?
If your refund is less than your remaining balance, your future instalments will be reduced. If your refund is more than your remaining balance, the difference is returned to your original payment method. Interest already paid isn’t refundable, as it’s the cost of borrowing.

What payment methods can I use?
Shop Pay Installments accepts most credit and debit cards. Capital One and Chase credit cards aren’t accepted. Monthly instalment plans must be paid using a debit card.

Is Shop Pay available outside the UK?
Shop Pay Installments is available in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?
For anything related to payments, instalments, or account issues, contact Affirm’s Help Centre for the UK, US, or Canada. For general Shop Pay questions, visit the “Paying in Installments with Shop Pay” resource.
