We are thrilled to share the great news from our partners that the Battle Cancer Program is now registered as an official charity.
The Battle Cancer Program is a free 12-week strength and fitness program developed by experts and is tailored specifically to support those post-cancer treatment. The program provides a support system and structure for those who have finished cancer treatment to take control of their own lives and adapt physically and mentally to take on the world around them.
In just 12 weeks since launching, there are already over 100 people worldwide using the free online program. A further 50 people are signed up to their free in-gym classes worldwide - these will start from the 7th June across the UK and US.
The program is still available in the following UK locations:
- WIT, London
- Forest Flow CrossFit, Lancaster
- Train, Manchester
- Move Forward Gym, Ottery St Mary, Devon
- Go Train East Rocks, Dunbar, Scotland
- LM Fitness, Colne
BATTLE CANCER ONLINE PROGRAM
The program is also available free online for those not living near one of the host gyms. The online program is the same as the one that will be coached in the gyms and will also cater for those with no equipment. Individuals are welcome to complete the program with a family member, friend or workout buddy to help them along their journey and can start the program at a time that suits them.
We're really excited for our friends at Battle Cancer to have achieved charity status for the program and can't wait to see their mission progress through fitness support for cancer survivors.
You can still sign up to their online program, register for the in-gym classes and donate using the links below.
