CaveFit is built on more than training. It is built on belief, confidence, and connection.
Located in Glasgow city centre, this is a performance-led space where coaching comes first and nobody trains alone. Every session is structured. Every standard is intentional. Progress is something members build together.
The Vision
CaveFit was built on a simple idea. Training works best when it is coached properly and done together.
This was never about opening another gym. The goal was to create a performance-led space in Glasgow city centre where people train with structure, consistency, and purpose. A place where coaching leads from the front, and members show up for the work and for each other.
CaveFit set out to become a standout facility in Glasgow. One defined not just by how it looks, but by the standard it delivers every day.
They partnered with BLK BOX because they knew the standard we would bring to the facility.
From the outset, the vision was clear, and so was the direction.
Laura Ruthnum-Anderson, Head of Training and Experience said, “Working with BLK BOX has been amazing from start to finish. They understood our vision straight off the bat. We knew the standard they were going to bring, so it was a no brainer.”
Customisation played a central role in bringing that vision to life. From branding and logos to colour-matched equipment and finishes, every detail was considered. The aim was to create a high-end, performance-driven facility that not only delivers at a high level, but gives members a space they are proud to train in.
The Build
With a tight 12-week timeline from initial build to opening day, delivery had to be efficient without compromising on detail.
Every element of the space was designed around coached sessions. A lane-based layout keeps classes structured and flowing, giving each member their own space while still maintaining the energy of the group.
At the outset, CaveFit were unsure what could be achieved within the space. Through early conversations with BLK BOX, that uncertainty shifted, with a clear plan in place and confidence in what could be delivered.
Fitting five rigs into the footprint was one of the key challenges, worked through collaboratively to ensure the space remained both functional and effective.
“Getting the five rigs into the space was what we thought would be tricky, but when we sat down with the team, they made us feel at ease that it was possible. And they delivered.” said Scott Anderson, Head of Operations.
Key Equipment
Custom 3 Series Nexus Racks with integrated storage, along with the turf and wall ball targets, were all customised with CaveFit branding to create a strong, cohesive look across the space.
“Customisation was a huge thing for us. Getting our logos on the equipment, on the turf, on the wall ball targets, and even down to the exact colour, that’s been massive,” explained Laura and Scott.
The facility was then equipped to fully support its performance focus:
Every piece selected to handle high-volume use and support structured, coached sessions.
The Result
CaveFit is now a high-performance training environment built for real people and real progress.
It is a space where coaching drives everything, where sessions are structured, and where members train together, not alone. The layout supports it. The equipment enables it. The environment reinforces it.
And the impact is already clear.
The relationship has continued beyond the initial install, with further investment already underway.
CaveFit is more than a gym. It is a space built with intent, where belief, confidence, and connection are part of every session.
