Coming from a background with over 30 years combined experience in Physiotherapy and Personal Training, husband and wife duo, Stephen and Laura Harold knew exactly what equipment they wanted when it came to kitting out their new bespoke studio gym, Elite. Stephen was not new to the business of setting up his own gym facility, after having previously owned a hugely successful gym in Newry. Setting up his new studio gym was another great chance for Stephen to get his hands on some of the latest BLK BOX products.
Selecting a variety of equipment that was multipurpose and versatile for both of their client groups was key. Stephen needed premium strength and conditioning equipment to get the most from his personal training sessions, and Laura needed equipment that was highly functional and practical in the use of sports injury rehabilitation, sports specific screening and injury prevention.
After carefully picking their products, the BLK BOX install team spent a day installing the Elite studio situated in the couples back garden. The pair opted for some BLK BOX favourites including Goliath Compact Rack, Belfast Bar, Slam Balls, Battle Ropes, Dumbbells, Wooden Rings, and Anti-Slip Tiles.
Both Stephen and Laura have experience working with a wide range of clients of varying ages groups, capabilities, and sporting backgrounds, but most frequently work with GAA athletes. The 500 sq. ft facility which was opened in June 2020 will surely help to develop and produce some of the next top GAA athletes while also offering his local community a premium quality training facility.
