BLK BOX offers a range of barbells designed for weightlifting, powerlifting, and functional training. Our collection includes Olympic bars, power bars, hybrid bars, and specialty bars, all engineered for durability and performance.

A standard men’s Olympic barbell weighs 20kg and is 2.2m (7.2ft) long. A women’s Olympic barbell weighs 15kg and is 2.01m (6.6ft) long.

The 20kg barbell is thicker (28-29mm shaft) and designed for heavier loads, while the 15kg bar has a thinner shaft (25mm) for better grip, particularly for Olympic weightlifting.

Knurling refers to the textured pattern on the barbell shaft that improves grip. BLK BOX bars feature a balanced knurling depth - aggressive enough for a secure hold but not overly sharp for high-rep training.

• Bearings (needle or ball bearings) allow the sleeves to spin smoothly, ideal for Olympic weightlifting.
• Bushings (brass or composite) provide a controlled rotation, making them great for powerlifting and multipurpose training.

Regularly brush the knurling with a stainless steel brush, wipe down the shaft with a light coat of oil, and store your bar in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.

The Power Bar is a competition-style bar built for maximal strength work. With a stiffer 29mm shaft, minimal whip, aggressive knurling, and bronze bushings, it is engineered for squats, bench press, and deadlifts where stability under load is critical.

The Stinger Bar is a compact Olympic bar designed for space-conscious training environments. It delivers full performance in a reduced length format, making it ideal for home gyms and smaller facilities. Due to its size, it requires squat stands rather than full racks or rigs.
