C.A Brive High Performance Facility

The CA Brive training facility is located beneath the Stade Amédée-Domenech, their home stadium in Brive-la-Gaillarde France. Strength, power, agility, stamina, and speed are key to succeeding in rugby, so it was important the facility included various training zones, where every piece of equipment is selected with that in mind. From the CA Brive branded Velocity Turf on the floor, to the towering Samson Racks, their new facility is something any sports team would envy.

Samson Full Racks were installed within the strength zone, alongside GHDs, 45 Degree Hyperextension and integrated storage to keep the training area clutter free, with shelves for dumbbells, kettlebells and medicine balls and utility pegs for bumper plates. The racks were also upgraded with spotting arms, hip thruster attachments, jammer arms and dip stations to create a highly versatile training station designed to the cater to the individual requirements of each player.

Physical strength is vital in rugby, but stamina cannot be overlooked, so a cardio zone was included with WattBike Pros, Ski Ergs and Rowers. 3g Velocity Turf was installed for conditioning and mobility exercises, and a mondo track was included for essential rugby drills, plyometric work and sprints. With any high-performance sport brings the risk of injury, so there is a rehab area to prevent and treat any injuries sustained on the pitch and during training.  

Throughout the entire facility design process, it was important that the black and white colours of CA Brive were incorporated. All rigs and racks have been manufactured in the team colours and brand plates on each of the Samson Racks have been laser cut with the team name and logo to make their entire set up stand out. We wish CA Brive the best of luck for the remainder of the season and hope their new facility equips them to climb to the top of French Rugby and go on to conquer Europe.
